Nasme

Terms of Service

Last updated 22 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the Nasme mobile application. By using Nasme, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What Nasme is

Nasme is an independent guide to recurring weekly events (ladies' nights, brunches, quiz nights, happy hours, live music and similar programming) at venues in the United Arab Emirates. It is a listings and discovery service.

Nasme is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent for any venue listed in it, unless a listing explicitly states otherwise. We do not operate any venue, host any event, take bookings, process payments, or guarantee entry.

2. Accuracy of listings (please read this one)

Event information is compiled from venues' own public websites and social media, and is checked by hand. We work hard to keep it right. Even so, venues change their programming, prices, and hours frequently and often without notice, and listings can be out of date or wrong.

Listings are provided for general information only and are not an offer, a promise, or a guarantee that an event will take place, at that time, at that price, or at all. Always confirm directly with the venue before travelling. We are not liable for a wasted journey, a cancelled or altered event, a refused entry, or a price that differs from what was listed.

Prices are shown as indicative bands and in the venue's own terms. They exclude taxes and service charges unless stated, and are subject to change by the venue at any time.

3. Links and hand-offs to other services

Nasme deliberately hands you off to third parties: a venue's booking page or reservation platform, WhatsApp, your phone dialler, Instagram, Uber, and maps applications. Those services are operated by others and governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Any booking, reservation, ride, or transaction you make is strictly between you and that third party. Nasme is not a party to it, earns nothing from it, and has no role in fulfilment, cancellation, refunds, or disputes.

4. Accounts

Browsing requires no account. If you choose to create one, it is created through Sign in with Apple, Sign in with Google, or a one-time sign-in link sent to your email address, and it exists to sync the things you keep (your saved venues and your plans) across your devices.

You are responsible for maintaining control of the Apple ID, Google account, or email address used to sign in. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account; this is permanent and immediate. We may suspend or terminate an account that is being used to abuse, attack, or disrupt the service.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Reports and suggestions you send us

Nasme lets you report that a listing is wrong, and suggest a venue or event we do not yet list. These are genuinely useful to us, and this section covers them.

When you send one, you give us permission to store it and to act on it: to correct or remove a listing, to add a venue or event, and to improve the app. We may do that without crediting or paying you, and we are under no obligation to act on any submission.

You agree not to send anything false or deliberately misleading, abusive, offensive, or unlawful, and not to submit automatically, repeatedly, or in bulk. We may ignore any submission, and may block further submissions.

Submissions are not confidential. Please do not include personal information, yours or anyone else's, or anything sensitive. We only need the facts about the venue or the event.

7. Intellectual property

The Nasme name, mark, design, and the compilation, structure and curation of its listings are ours and are protected by law. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial use.

Venue names, logos, and trade marks belong to their respective owners. Venue photographs are supplied through the Google Maps Platform and remain the property of their photographers and licensors; they are credited in the app where required.

8. Venues: corrections and removal

If you represent a venue and a listing is wrong, out of date, or you would like it removed, email hello@nasme.ae. We act on verified requests promptly and at no charge.

9. Availability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it, including individual listings or features, at any time.

10. Alcohol, licensed venues, and local law

You must be at least 18 years old to use Nasme. Some listed venues are licensed premises serving alcohol and are restricted to adults; entry to those venues is also subject to the legal drinking age in the relevant emirate, which may be higher than 18. You are responsible for complying with all applicable UAE laws and with each venue's own rules, including its age limits and dress code.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nasme is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, opportunity, data, or enjoyment, arising from your use of the service or from your dealings with any venue or third party found through it.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the preceding twelve months (which, as the app is free, is normally nil) or AED 100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the date above and, where significant, surfaced in the app. Continuing to use Nasme after a change means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you hold in your country of residence.
